Blogging with WordPress Again

Today, in an effort to begin blogging with WordPress again about the things that matter to me personally, I contacted customer support at Hostgator. I had the domain name of my on-line persona attached to their webhosting service, and they installed it for me.

In years past, WordPress came with a basic default theme. This time, however, I had to figure out how to maneuver a more complex one that came with the initial setup that I did through my webhost.

It was way too much for my needs, so I ditched it and snagged one I’ve been using elsewhere for the past 15 years called twenty-ten.

I know this WordPress theme isn’t fancy, and I may change it over time, but it’s functional and familiar to me. And it should enable me to spend more time creating & publishing content and less time trying to figure out all the bells & whistles of the more modern WordPress themes. Let’s hope so.

So here is it is, my first post, blogging with WordPress again in my new personal diary.
